Worshipful was down. The server died. The most recent backup I have is from October 10, 2013. So anything from the past 1+ year will likely have been lost. All songs. All sets. Sorry!

If I'm able to restore the previous data, I will.

  Hey Jeff, thanks for this great tool. I had a question.. How can I open up a set made by someone else (the worship leader) and change one of the songs to capo 5 (relative key) for me as a guitar player? Can't seem to figure out how to change the relative key of a song if I'm not the owner of the set. thanks, Ming

  Normally, you can't edit someone else's set unless you are an admin. I'll keep this feature in mind for the next release of worshipful.

PDF Printing: Part II

Hey Guys,

Thanks for your feedback over the PDF printing... I've made some minor adjustments:
1. Underlined song titles
2. "Relative" vs "Absolute" in the title of the set
3. Key and capo information next to the song titles.

  The key signature for B should be 5#s. When you transpose to B, things come up as flats. Is there a way to change that? kinda throws me off. Everything else is working pretty great.

PDF Printing!!

Hey guys,

I just implemented PDF printing so that you guys can get perfect print-outs no matter what operating system or browser you're using. Its a new feature that I just threw together, so there are probably a few bugs lingering around. I'd appreciate it if you guys checked it out and let me know what you think.

A Bunch of Changes

I've been sitting here in the Incheon Airport for about 4 hours now, and have been using this time to work on worshipful. I just deployed a bunch of changes:
1. new account page, with sub-menus
  
  all-in-one info page
  
  list sets, disable and enable
  
  list songs, disable and enable
2. Disable and Enable Songs and Sets
3. Delete Comments by owner or moderator
4. Personal Sets... These will be unlisted, but still viewable by all. They won't get counted in CCLI reports that I'll implement later on.
5. New 1 column set layout.
6. subtle UI changes to the side bar.

  Is it possible for when you click on your set, it is viewable in 2-3 columns? I find it annoying to have to scroll down.

Over the next few days (or when I have time) I'll be working on these bugs:
1. Garrick and Enoch's "can't create set" bug
2. 3rd column print in windows bug
  
  I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do this because I don't have a windows machine
3. delete set
  
  I'm going to put in an "official" option for sets so that the unofficial ones won't be counted in generated reports to ccli
  
  I'll also put in a delete set option as well
On top of this, I plan on rewriting the print set page so that its more intuitive and there are more options.

New Layout, New Feature, Broken Registration

All,

Over the past couple of days, I've been working on switching over to a new layout. You probably won't notice this too much, but its a change that will hopefully enable me to implement Darren's designs quickly. If you're interested in knowing more, the framework is called 960gs. The inventor of this framework happens to be Christian.

I'm also working on a new way to create and modify sets. The next release will allow you do do everything you need to do with a set in the side panel on the right. I'm really looking forward to releasing this because it will be a LOT easier to create a set.

I'm aware that there is a problem with registration. I'm looking into it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Profile Pictures and UI Tweaks

Jake told me that he wanted more pictures on the site. I'm not quite sure what he meant by this, but I do know that he can start by adding his profile picture.

I still see no comments on this page and am wondering if it even works. I'll buy the first person that comments on this post a pinkberry frozen yogurt.

I've also added a bunch of minor ui fixes. Enjoy... or not...

  Hey Cheung, I got it working again. Now the images crop to a square instead of maintaining the aspect ratio. If you don't understand, don't worry about it... cuz Darrens smart enough to. All you need to know is that it should be fixed now.

Free Form Song Creation

For the song moderators, I've added a new feature that allows you to copy and paste a whole song into a free form. The app the tries to parse it and setup all the verses for you.

I haven't used this extensively, so please help me get all the bugs out by reporting any problems you have with this feature. Thanks.

I hope this makes song entering a lot easier for you guys.

I've rewritten the permissions scheme to be more robust and have added another role called 'moderator'. This role will (future plans) have all the permissions to edit songs, but will also have permissions to take down comments, songs, etc...

I've added comments, so one can now comment on songs, sets, and posts. I have plans on adding replies to comments, but this is not a priority just yet.

I've modified the layout to the "create song" application and will be integrating some of Darren's icons.

Bug fixes, Youth Camp, and Graphic Designer

We all had a great time at Youth Camp! Thanks for singing, playing, serving!! Now to the bug fixes (thanks for the bug submissions Jenn!):
1. fixed set transposing
2. added font sizing for print song
3. default sorting for songs is now by title for letters and create time for "All"
I found a graphic designer that will help me out with the look and feel of the website: Darren Lo. I'm really excited to see worshipful finally get a face lift.

  Added church groups. The idea behind this is to allow multiple churches of some affiliation to be able to share music.
  
  Added presentation mode for sets. This allows you to have a powerpoint-like interface. Still very beta. Example here (a pop-up window will open).

  Vocals Mode for printing sets
  
  Edit mode for printing sets. Drag and drop songs and verses by dragging title or verse name.
